Meet the Team
With more than 50 years of experience in healthcare and technology, VirtueRN exists to deliver an integrated workflow solution that provides key stakeholders with a smart, efficient and connected solution.
Gibran is the Chief Executive Officer and founding partner of VirtueRN. He is responsible for driving the collective vision of the Virtue team from development through the commercial adoption of software tools utilized by post-acute healthcare providers. Prior to VirtueRN, Gibran was the COO of Jaysec Technologies (now GoScripts), a provider of ePrescribing and Documentation software solutions serving the Home Health and Home Medical Equipment (HME) market. Before his leap into software, Gibran served as Corporate Director at Medical Services of America (MSA), a national comprehensive Home Health, Hospice, HME, Pharmacy and post-acute ancillary services with operations in 14 states and the Philippines. There is where he saw the need to drive efficiencies so that clinicians can be clinicians and spend their valuable time taking care of patients not paperwork. Prior to his 4+ years at MSA, Gibran started Palmetto Long Term Care Pharmacy in 2004. By the end of his tenure, they were serving 3500 LTC beds, along with several major South Carolina state contracts, including the Department of Juvenile Justice and the Department of Mental Health for their prescription and consultative needs.
Gibran is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with his Doctor of Pharmacy and maintains his professional licenses in states of South Carolina and Kentucky.
